Preparing Today's Youth For Tomorrow's Challenge
Jr. ARES is the Jr. group of our Amateur Radio Emergency Services Group.
Jr. ARES is open for membership to all youth under the age of 18 with a valid amateur radio operators license.
*New River District will provide Classes, testing and on-going training.
*Provide Mentoring to assist in gaining valid amateur radio license.
Our Goal is to have active Jr. ARES
Groups in all four counties in the district to further enhance communications in times of Emergency & to assist in Community Service Events.
*Jr. ARES is modeled after Duval Counties JARES Organization.
